Grambling's basketball program began in 1928 at the HBCU in Grambling, Louisiana. The Tigers compete in the SWAC and carry the legendary athletic tradition built by football coach Eddie Robinson, which extends to all sports at the university. Grambling has won multiple SWAC basketball titles.
